We take security at ABC Nursery very seriously. To ensure that your child is safe at all times we have certain security procedures

The front door is always locked and to enter you must either use the fingerprint entry system or ring the doorbell.

The fingerprint door system allows parents and carers to access the nursery in a safe and secure manner. Only parents and carers who have a child at the nursery will be entered onto the system and they can be deleted at any time at the discretion of the Management. This means that parents wil be able to see their child in action when they come to pick them up.

If you do not have fingerprint access, a member of staff will come to the door and will ask for a password which is unique to the child being picked up. If you have asked someone else to pick up your child they must know the password and we must have been informed about the change beforehand. Unless these procedures are adhered to, your child will not be released. If it is an emergency, we will contact a parent on the number held on file to ensure that your child is passed to the right person. All visitors will be asked to sign in the visitors book and will always be accompanied whilst on the premises.

We also ask that parents do not let other parents in, even if they know them. This is for the safety of your child and that of the other children. Thank you.
